Accuracy first
We publish information we can support. Key facts are confirmed against primary sources — official statements, regulatory filings, security advisories, court records and peer-reviewed research — and, wherever possible, against more than one independent source. Each article lists the sources it relies on so readers can verify them.
Sourcing and quotations
- We link to the original source the first time we rely on it.
- Quotations are reproduced exactly as they appeared in the cited source and are attributed by name and role.
- We do not invent people, quotes, data, studies or events. If something cannot be verified, we say so or leave it out.
- We clearly label analysis and opinion so it is not confused with straight news.
How we use AI and automation
USA 24 uses AI tools in its newsroom to monitor breaking news, gather and organize research from published sources, help draft articles and generate illustrative images. Our standards apply to that work exactly as they apply to everything else: articles must be built on cited, verifiable sources, and our editors can review, edit, update or remove any story at any time.
Images that were created with AI are illustrations, not photographs of real events, and are labeled in their captions. We do not use AI to depict real, identifiable people or to fabricate documentary images of news events.
Independence
Our coverage decisions are made independently of advertisers and commercial partners. We do not accept payment for coverage. Any sponsored or partner content will be clearly labeled as such.
Fairness
When a story makes serious claims about a company or person, we include their public response when one is available, and we update the story if they respond later.
Corrections and updates
When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly. Substantive corrections are noted in the article, and the "Updated" time shown on each story reflects its latest revision. To report an error, email [email protected] or use our contact form with the article link and the correction.
Security research and responsible coverage
In cybersecurity coverage we explain threats and defenses so readers can protect themselves. We do not publish working exploit code, stolen data or instructions intended to help anyone attack systems, and we follow coordinated-disclosure norms when reporting vulnerabilities.
